There is no limit to what God can do with people who put Him first.

Our Vision

Since 2001, White Pine Community Church has been helping people find and follow Jesus in the most unchurched part of the most unchurched state in America. Just 4.3% of those who live in Cumberland County attend an evangelical church, and in the communities northeast of Portland there is no other beginner-friendly church like White Pine.

Our impact in the Cumberland/North Yarmouth area has been significant (5%), but in the surrounding communities—towns like Falmouth, Yarmouth, Freeport and Gray—we have so much more potential for outreach. Now is the time for White Pine to become a regional church, establishing a new epicenter of ministry that extends to the 50,000 people who live near us but have yet to experience God’s love through us.

Our Primary Goal

100% Engagement

GOD FIRST is not primarily about raising money but growing spiritually. We are challenging everyone who calls White Pine “home” to fully engage in a discipleship process that will produce, among other things, sacrificial generosity. What that looks like for each of us will depend on our financial resources and life circumstances. But if 100% of us give 100% of ourselves to God, we will have everything we need to do everything He wants us to do.

We are challenging everyone who calls White Pine home to go to the next level in:

  • Commitment

    Putting God first in everything

  • Vision

Adopting the entire region as our mission field

  • Generosity

Seeking first God’s kingdom with our resources

Our Secondary Goal

$3 Million over two years

This is a one-fund initiative. We are trusting God for $3 million to cover all of our ongoing expenses and to set in motion our transition to a permanent facility in a strategic location.

Ministry Expenses

This will allow us to continue to support our staff and missionaries and to fully fund the ongoing ministries that make White Pine a high-quality multi-generational church.

Ministry EpiCenter

This will enable us to respond quickly when a window of opportunity opens to secure the most strategic location for a regional church.

Our Strategy

Our strategy for wider impact begins with deeper commitment to Jesus. We believe that, if we seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), and we share Christ’s vision for our region, the result will be an outpouring of generosity that will enable us to serve this and future generations from a permanent facility that is accessible to all the communities we have been called to love in Jesus’ name.

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and He will give you everything you need.”

Matthew 6:33
